Katherine Joiner

Katherine (Katriona) has been part of the Pagan community since 2009.  She started within a larger organization of Wiccans, but now is a solitary practicing Witch.  She focuses on the Celtic tradition, but overall blends her more universal ideas into her practice.

She enjoys watching anime and playing video games with her teenage son, loving on her 4 legged baby, crocheting, doing puzzles, and spending time with her chosen family.

Stephanie Armagost

Stephanie Armagost has been a part of the NoVA Pagan community for almost 20 years and was a solo practitioner for many years before then. She has participated in planning and coordinating local events including Fertile Ground Gathering and now Hallowed Homecoming. She is a former ordained minister with ShadowGrove Spiritual Ministries, a Reiki Master, follows the path of an Eclectic Witch and Healer and has recently been called to a Heathen path. Her favorite pastimes are learning new things, playing DnD, going to Tea, and spending time with her family.

Michelle Stormcatcher

Michelle has been a practicing Pagan since the mid 1990s. She became more involved in the greater pagan community in 2005 and served as the Supplies Coordinator for Fertile Ground Gathering for 6 of its first 7 years, as well as serving as a local Pagan Pride Day coordinator since 2015. She works professionally in procurement and enjoys it so much she happily volunteers to do this work for several of the awesome local pagan events too.

Blake

Blake Leaf is an animist polytheist Pagan, naturalist, and shamanic practitioner whose mission in life is to gather and share interesting information. Blake joined the Hallowed Homecoming community in 2023 and was quickly claimed as a staff-helper-person. Aside from the metaphysical, Blake’s interests include singing, fiber crafts, and running long distances. Blake lives in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia with an ever-expanding herb garden and a mischievous cat.

Raven Mohnkern

Raven, aka Shelly Mohnkern (she/they) is a practicing polytheist pagan, an ordained minister, a licensed professional and pastoral counselor, and a Guardian. A lifetime student of spirituality, Raven attained her third-degree as a Wiccan in Denver, Colorado back in 1994, but found that path presented limits for her in ways that she had not anticipated. Now she practices Global Polytheism and trance-possession work, and often describes herself as “-adjacent”. Raven works primarily with the Universal Temple of Spirits (UToS), and can be found co-creating and staffing a number of pagan festivals and events in the MD/DC/VA/PA area.

Rayne is a practicing heathen and priestx of Nótt. Along with supporting Hallowed Homecoming’s spiritual committee, they are co-leader of The Witches Table community and Master of Divinity candidate. Rayne is the author of Bone Dust and other macabre wordsmithing.

Frank Stormcatcher

Frank is a Guardian and has been practicing for over two decades. His practice specializing in various modes of protective magics and exorcism. In addition to his metaphysical training, Frank has a degree in Anthropology of Religion and the History & Philosophy of Science, of which he makes frequent use. Frank coordinates security and logistics for Hallowed Homecoming.

Scott “Uggla” Anderson

Scott has been walking the Norse path for 15 years. He lives in Akron, Ohio with his wife Adrienne and their offspring. Scott is the chief fire-bug for Hallowed Homecoming.

Jake Armagost

Jake follows a heathen path after growing up in the Native community. He enjoys hiking with friends and family, watching his Iggles if they make the playoffs, and making knives as part of Tempered Raven. Jake is the on-site coordinator for Hallowed Homecoming.

Liam McGhee

Liam has been a practicing Druid with a shamanistic bent for over 5 years. His blending of a technological career with a spiritual lifestyle have earned him the nickname “Techno Druid”. He loves to learn about and experience all paths, feeling that our shared experiences make us more complete people. Having previously served as a board member and event planner for both Oak and Eagle and the Mid Atlantic Gathering (MAGUS), he is proud to help make Hallowed Homecoming truly amazing!

Adrienne Anderson

Adrienne Anderson has been a practicing Egyptian for over 22 years. She is currently living in Akron Ohio with her husband Scott and offspring Jack, as well as with a well documented dog and cat. Recognized as a Guardian in good standing in 2011 and ordained as clergy by the state of Ohio in 2013, Adrienne is part of the lead clergy for Crooked River Circle in Northeast Ohio, serving the populace as one of the largest public pagan groups in the area, as well as being the lead guardian at their events. She is active in Akron in the local community and neighborhood events to facilitate better communication between pagan and non-pagan communities. Adrienne also is the first pagan clergy to have opened prayer for the Akron City Council in their over 100 year history.

Crystal Redbird Rising

Crystal is a nearly 20-year veteran of the greater NoVA Pagan community. She has been an integral part of planning and coordinating local Pagan events for the last 14 years, including Fertile Ground Gathering and Hallowed Homecoming. A former ordained minister with ShadowGrove Spiritual Ministries, she currently serves as chaplain for the Guardians of the Caomhnoiri Fian, and is a qualified death doula through both the International End of Life Doula Association and the University of Vermont’s Larner College of Medicine.

Candice Demuth

Candice has been a practicing Pagan since the mid 2000’s. She focuses on Norse/Celtic traditions and incorporates her craft in everyday life. In the past, she helped planned Fertile Ground Gathering for several years, taking a step back to pursue her passion with her knife business, Tempered Raven, that she runs with her husband, brother and life-long friend.

Formerly the Youth minister of ShadowGrove, her focus has shifted to being the spiritual leader of her chosen family.

Nancy McMahan Farrar

Nancy is a practicing eclectic polytheist, Priestess and witch. She’s both an organizer and a scientist by training, and a lifelong explorer who is always seeking out opportunities to learn new things. She’s walked closely with Nature for most of her life. She’s a former staff member and instructor with Legion of Pagans, is a Second Degree initiate with Squanderosa Circle, and is a First Degree initiate with the Fellowship of the Ancient White Stag.

Sean Cronin

Sean has been attending Pagan events since the mid 2000’s because Candice made him to provide some volunteer muscle. He quickly found a community he felt comfortable in. At Hallowed Homecoming in 2021, Sean found a path as a follower of the Dagda. Sean coordinates the volunteer work force and this year has volunteered to coordinate the Outreach & Advertising committee.

In his spare time Sean loves to hike with friends and family, play video games, write, scream at his beloved Iggles during football season, and make knives as a part of Tempered Raven.

Tye Baldwin

Jamie, also known as “Tye”, has worked a number of fan events, such as Katsucon, in the public safety/medical or convention operations divisions for over ten years. Originally from Baltimore where they worked in emergency services, they moved to Manassas about five years ago where they were introduced to Hallowed Homecoming. They were asked if they would be interested in staffing as a first aid provider a few years ago and now not only helps to organize the first aid team for the event but works on the hospitality and outreach committee in the area of publications.

Indie

Netasha is our new Kitchen Witch for Hallowed Homecoming. She has an extensive volunteer resume for various fan conventions and food events hosting (up to 150 people). Her southern/mid-Atlantic style of cooking is loved by her friends, as seen at the number of gatherings she hosts at her home. She believes that food is a form of healing, and sharing it is one of the best gifts one can offer to another. She looks forward to meeting everyone and providing delicious, healthy meals to our HH family!
